The Happy Enchalata Band!
What? Where did this name come from?
The band started in 1985 in “Da’UP” (Upper Penninsula, Michigan), with a misspelling of the miss-heard lyrics of “That’s the Way the World goes Round”.. a song by John Prine.
We moved to Oregon in 2011 from the Hawaiian island of Kaua’i. We love to play music, jam and to contribute our time and efforts towards community enrichment, education and whirled peas.
